The Steering Group is a panel of 16 members, which may be considered as a “Best of Austria” selection along the innovation chain. This body encompasses representatives from R&D institutions, energy supply companies, energy agencies, administrative representatives, and technology companies. It has substantial influence on the selection of new projects and the strategic focus of Green Energy Lab.
The main responsibility of the Steering Group is the pre-assessment of project ideas and to advise on their suitability to join the cluster of Green Energy Lab projects. The Steering Group also plays an advisory role in the internal monitoring process, by participating in the internal review hearings our projects and suggest necessary adaptions of project goals and strategic focus.
