Call for ideas: Interessante Schwerpunkte in Horizon Europe Cluster 5 “Klima, Energie, Mobilität“

Die aktuellen Schwerpunkte von Horizon Europe Cluster 5 umschließen sehr viele relevante Themenschwerpunkte der Erneuerbaren Energiewirtschaft. Den Überblick zu bewahren ist hier nicht immer einfach. Worum geht’s in Cluster 5?

Wenn Sie im Energiesektor tätig sind, ist Cluster 5 für Sie der relevante Cluster des wichtigsten Forschungsförderprogramms Horizon Europe.

Cluster 5 hat nämlich das übergeordnete Ziel die EU bis 2050 klimaneutral zu machen.

Die jährlichen Ausschreibungen mit vorgegebenen Themen orientieren sich dabei an diesem Ziel mit neun Programmschwerpunkten, die klar relevant sind für die Energiewirtschaft und damit die Green Energy Lab-Community:

• Klimawissenschaft und Lösungen,
• Energieversorgung,
• Energiesysteme und Netze,
• Gebäude und Industrieanlagen in der Energiewende,
• Gemeinden und Städte,
• industrielle Wettbewerbsfähigkeit im Verkehr,
• sauberer Transport und Mobilität,
• intelligente Mobilität,
• Energiespeicherung.

Für alle 6 darunterliegenden Themenbereiche (die sogenannten Destinations) sind sowohl 2023 als auch 2024 rund 20 Call-Schwerpunkte (sogenannte Call Topics) mit darunter mehr als 100 Calls und damit Einreichmöglichkeiten vorgesehen.

• Climate sciences and responses for the transformation towards climate neutrality service
• Cross-sectoral solutions for the climate transition
• Sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply
• Efficient, sustainable and inclusive energy use
• Clean and competitive solutions for all transport modes
• Safe, Resilient Transport and Smart Mobility services for passengers and goods

Wir haben versucht für Sie eine kleinen Überblick interessanter Calls mit Berührungspunkten zu Schwerpunkten des Green Energy Labs zu erstellen (kein Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit 😉), um Ihnen bei der Identifikation geeigneter Einreichmöglichkeiten zu helfen.   • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-02-05: Advanced exploration technologies for geothermal resources in a wide range of geological settings - (RIA), expected EU contribution per project around 4 million Euro, for 2 projects
  • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-02-06: Smart use of geothermal electricity and heating and cooling in the energy system - (IA), expected EU contribution per project around 5 million Euro, for 3 projects
  • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-02-09: Demonstration of sustainable hydropower refurbishment - (IA, LS), expected EU contribution per project around 8 million Euro, for 1 project
  • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-02-12: Large Area Perovskite solar cells and modules - (IA), expected EU contribution per project around 7 million Euro, for 2 projects
  • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-02-13: Operation, Performance and Maintenance of PV Systems - (IA), expected EU contribution per project around 5 million Euro, for 2 projects
  • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-02-14: Digital twin for forecasting of power production to wind energy demand - (RIA, LS), expected EU contribution per project around 6 million Euro, for 2 projects
  • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-02-15: Critical technologies to improve the lifetime, efficient decommissioning and increase the circularity of offshore and onshore wind energy systems - (RIA), expected EU contribution per project around 4 million Euro, for 3 projects

• Call 03 - Energy systems, grids & storage, Call Deadline 10.10.2023
  • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-03-01: Increasing the efficiency of innovative static energy conversion devices for electricity and heat/cold generation - (RIA), expected EU contribution per project around 3 million Euro, for 3 projects
  • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-03-02: Integration of renewable gases, other than hydrogen or methane, and which have not access to gas grids and interfacing with electricity and heat sectors - (IA), expected EU contribution per project around 6 million Euro, for 2 projects
  • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-03-03: System approach for grid planning and upgrade in support of a dominant electric mobility (vehicles and vessels) using AI tools - (IA), expected EU contribution per project around 11 million Euro, for 1 project
  • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-03-04: Digital tools for enhancing the uptake of digital services in the energy market - (IA), expected EU contribution per project 3 to 4 million Euro, for 3 projects

  • HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-03-06: Components and interfacing for AC & DC side protection system – AC & DC grid: components and systems for grid optimisation - (IA), expected EU contribution per project around 5 million Euro, for 2 projects
