
Andrea Edelmann
Board Member
Dr. Andrea Edelmann is the chairwoman and spokesperson of the Executive Board of "Green Energy Lab". She heads up the Innovation and Sustainability department within the EVN Group. The graduate technical chemist is a graduate of the Stanford LEAD program in Corporate Innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she also works as an ambassador. As a certified Design Thinking Coach, the involvement of customers is particularly important to her.

Rainer Matiasek
Board Member
Dr. Rainer Matiasek is Deputy Chairman of Green Energy Lab and Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at Burgenland Energie AG. With expertise from top management consulting and entrepreneurship in the energy, technology, mobility and manufacturing industries, among others, he stands for an overarching, applied perspective on innovation. He holds a doctorate in sustainability, corporate strategy and customer added value and completed the CEMS Master in International Management.

Julia Weberberger
Board Member
Julia Weberberger, B.Sc. MBA is Deputy Chairwoman of Green Energy Lab and heads up corporate strategy at Energie AG Oberösterreich. She has extensive expertise in strategy development, change management and agile organisational development. In her current role, she drives key initiatives to shape the energy transition and is responsible for the group's sustainability management. Previously, she headed the operational human resources department and played a key role in shaping future-oriented HR strategies. Her academic training in law, psychology and change management complements her broad practical experience and enables her to take a holistic view of transformation processes.

Fabian Kesicki
Board Member
Dr. Fabian Kesicki is the treasurer on the board of the association. He is in charge of corporate development at Wien Energie and responsible for developing corporate strategy and managing innovation activities. Prior to that, he headed the market and competitor analysis in E.ON's corporate strategy and was one of the authors of the World Energy Outlook at the International Energy Agency in Paris as an energy analyst. Fabian Kesicki holds a PhD in energy economics from University College London.

Mathias Schaffer
Board Member
Mathias Schaffer is secretary of the Executive Board. The graduate electrical engineer is a specialist for energy research and innovation management at Energie Steiermark AG with a focus on innovation strategy, startup cooperation and the development of the Next-Incubator - the innovation hub for sustainability.
