The aim of this project is to create an integrated, holistic pooling approach for thermal storage systems of various sizes and applications. This leads to increased use of renewable energy.
The focus of this innovation is the pool management of hot water storage tanks that are connected to Energie Burgenland’s energy control room.
The solution is transferable to energy systems with a high proportion of fluctuating renewable generation and therefore a need for demand-side flexibility.
