Networking event for the ASAP call 2022

Digitization plays a key role in the energy transition. More and more innovative technologies and digital services have already established themselves on the market, thanks to consistent research and development. A particular focus is on the use of data, e.g. for new energy services, urban and spatial planning, or monitoring of power grids and climate impacts.

The Federal Ministry for Climate Protection is now launching a new call for proposals together with the FFG to fund research projects that focus on the application of space data for the energy transition.

On the occasion of the new call, a networking event will be held in Vienna on September 21, 2022 from 10 am - 4 pm under the motto "Space is for everyone!". At the event, stakeholders from the space community will network with users and demand drivers from the energy, mobility, circular economy and carbon-neutral city sectors. Susanne Supper, Cluster Manager of the Green Energy Lab, will enrich the event with a keynote speech.
