The battery storage systems of prosumers are merged and wind energy is stored and used during periods of low PV production. To this end, the interface to the inverter is being further developed to enable the energy supply company to use the battery storage of the PV systems for system-related purposes. The aim is to achieve a pool size of 500 inverters and a storage capacity of 3 MWh within 3 years.
500 prosumers with battery storage are pooled and their capacities used for system-serving purposes.
In principle, the solution can be rolled out across the board, depending on the availability of technically suitable interfaces to the inverters and battery storage systems.
