Development of a digital twin of heating networks connected to real-time data to increase the flexibility of district heating systems, reduce CO2 emissions and improve efficiency.

The digital twin is connected to a smart home system, which allows the potential for flexibility (on the consumer side) to be used for demand response programs.

Transferability is heavily dependent on the interfaces used for boiler control or grid control. This project therefore attempts to standardize these interfaces as far as possible in order to maximize transferability.
