The model solution consists of an energy community that has three essential additional functions compared to its actual purpose:
- Blackout precautions and prevention
- Participatory design and awareness-raising
- Integration of an industrial company
The overall technical, economic and organizational design of the energy community is to be based on a participatory process involving all stakeholders. In addition to the actual operation of the energy community, awareness-raising measures are to form flanking measures.
The solution is transferable to all municipalities in Austria.
