
Klemens Marx
Managing Director
Klemens Marx is Managing Director of Green Energy Lab. He works at the intersection of research, demonstration, and the market, bringing with him many years of experience in innovation, commercialization, and implementation. In his previous leadership and management roles, he has built new offerings, developed partnerships, and translated R&D results into marketable solutions. He studied mechanical and process engineering at the Vienna University of Technology and earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the WU Executive Academy.

Susanne Supper
Director Funding and Finance
Susanne Supper is Director of Funding and Finance at Green Energy Lab. Before Green Energy Lab was founded and launched in September 2018, she worked for several years as a senior project manager and head of an energy research department. Susanne Supper studied Civil Engineering and Water Management at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Vienna.

Ludwig Fliesser
Communications Manager
Ludwig Fliesser is Communications Manager at Green Energy Lab. For many years, he worked as a senior editor for various specialist publications and as the managing director of his own multimedia agency. He studied cultural and social anthropology at the University of Vienna. He also holds a diploma from the Higher Institute of Photography and Visual Media.

Christian Kurz
R&D Manager
Christian Kurz is the R&D Manager of Green Energy Lab. The nuclear physicist holds a doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, including as managing director of various subsidiaries of Burgenland Energie. Most recently, Christian was innovation manager at Burgenland Energie.

Daniela Kain
Project Manager
Daniela Kain is a Project Manager and responsible for portfolio agendas in the Green Energy Lab. Previously, Daniela Kain worked as a program manager in research funding (Smart Cities, Energy Transition, Co-Creation-Spaces) at one of the largest Austrian funding agencies in the climate and energy sector. She studied Communication Science and Theory of Science in Vienna and International Project Management in Graz.

David Weiss
Project Manager
David Weiss is a project manager at the Green Energy Lab. He studied geography with a focus on spatial planning and has extensive experience in urban and transportation planning as well as sustainable mobility management. Throughout his career, he has worked on a variety of projects to make urban spaces more efficient and environmentally friendly.

Anna-Lena Oberhofer
Communications Assistant
Anna-Lena Oberhofer is a Communications Assistant at Green Energy Lab. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in French and Romance Studies at the University of Vienna, she completed her Master’s degree in Communication Management at the FH Wien der WKW. She supports the communication of Green Energy Lab.

Melahat Coskun-Esen
Project Assistant
Melahat Coskun-Esen works as a Project Assistant in the Green Energy Lab and in this role supports the monitoring and impact assessment of the sample solutions of the Green Energy Lab projects. In addition to her support at the Green Energy Lab, she is studying environmental engineering at the Vienna University of Technology.

Fiona Fleischhacker
Team Assistant
Fiona Fleischhacker is a team assistant at Green Energy Lab and supports the team with administrative tasks. In addition to her work at Green Energy Lab, she studies environmental and bioresource management at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna.
