When building a sustainable community, it is important not to focus solely on energy approaches, as the needs of residents are much more diverse.
The aim is to integrate all needs, ranging from electricity and heating to mobility, water supply and waste disposal.
To achieve this, technological and social science perspectives are combined.
Approaches are also being developed to optimize individual local, sustainable communities in such a way that the greatest possible benefit is created for the system as a whole.
