The reciprocal integration and connection of existing district heating networks by means of a bidirectional transfer station enables the resource-efficient use of industrial waste heat and biomass from different generation plants.
The process is supported by an intelligent control system that optimizes the heat exchange and ensures an almost 100% heat supply from renewable energy. Existing district heating networks will be merged and managed at a higher level in order to improve efficiency and reduce the CO2 footprint. Overall optimization across property boundaries of several infrastructures is a novelty and has a high potential for expansion.
